- Buyers are granted the right to read and perform the purchased monologue in any setting without monetary gain.
- Sellers grant rights to buyers to read and perform monologues in any setting without monetary gain.
- Monologues remain the intellectual property of the seller and as such cannot be republished, redistributed or reprinted for monetary gain. Monologues may be printed for personal use only.
Content
- monologuedb provides website users access to monologues (‘Content’) from existing films and plays. Content is provided for personal use only and is not to be used for any commercial purpose unless you are the rightful copyright owner of specific monologue.
- Website users agree not to upload, post of otherwise make available any Content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other intellectual property or proprietary right of any person.

Buyers
- Monologue purchases are handled through PayPal and can be bought with a PayPal account or Credit Card.
- All monologue purchases are final and non-refundable.
- Buyers must be registered with monologuedb to access their purchased monologues.
Sellers
- Buyers pay monologuedb for purchase orders.
- Sellers receive 70% of proceeds from a monologue sale.
- monologuedb pays sellers once an order is complete.
- Sellers are responsible for ensuring that their work is their own intellectual property.
General Terms
- Violation of monologuedb’s Terms of Service may get your account permanently blocked.
- monologuedb reserves the right to put any account on hold or permanently cancel accounts due to misbehavior.
- Users with accounts on hold will not be able to sell or buy on monologuedb.
- monologuedb may make changes to its Terms of Service in the future. When these changes are made, monologuedb will make a new copy of the Terms of Service available at http://www.monologuedb.com/terms-of-service/.
- You understand and agree that if you use monologuedb after the date on which the Terms of Service have changed, monologuedb will treat your use as acceptance of the updated Terms of Service.
Ownership and limitations
The buyer is not granted intellectual property rights to the purchased monologue. Buyers are granted only the rights of readership and performance of the purchased monologue.
Monologues remain the intellectual property of the seller and as such cannot be republished or reprinted for monetary gain. By offering a monologue for sale, the seller asserts that it has sufficient permissions to provide, sell or resell the monologue that they offer on monologuedb.
