You cant go yet

You said the words. You made promises. You took a sacred vow – same as me. Doesn’t that mean anything to you? Don’t you care?

It doesn’t matter any more. I care enough for both of us and there is nothing you can do to change that. I have no intention of letting you go or letting you off the hook. We are in this for the long haul. We are joined for life. For life! Do you hear me? I’m not dead yet and I don’t care if you do want to leave me. We will be married until we are both dead. Both of us, don’t you understand? Go ahead, try to leave. I don’t have to let you go and I don’t intend to. I can’t imagine life without you and I won’t go through it alone. I won’t let anyone take you from me. I just have to fix you up a little and you can sit right there, in front of the TV, with your remote and your can of warm beer, just like you have in the past. Just let me get you a little of my makeup and some tweezers. Now that the blood has stopped pumping, I can work on getting all those shotgun pellets out of your face.
(Long pause)

There, that’s much better.
